Parent & Caregiver Support: a place to talk where your truth will be respected

Therapy for Parents and Caregivers

Parenting a child with emotional, behavioral, developmental, or special needs can be deeply meaningful — and also overwhelming, exhausting, and isolating. Many parents find themselves carrying constant worry, managing systems, attending appointments, advocating in schools, responding to crises, and trying to support their child while also holding together work, relationships, and daily life.

I offer therapy for parents and caregivers navigating the complex emotional realities of raising a child with mental health, developmental, or special needs concerns. This work is informed by both my clinical background and lived experience supporting a child with complex needs, which allows me to bring both professional understanding and personal compassion to the work.

My Approach

I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space for parents and caregivers to process the emotional impact of what they are carrying. Together, we can explore practical stressors, emotional exhaustion, patterns of self-blame, and the ongoing challenge of supporting your child while staying connected to yourself.

You do not have to be in crisis to need support. Therapy can help you feel less alone, more grounded, and better equipped to navigate both the systems around your child and the feelings that come with loving someone who needs so much from you.

You may benefit from this work if:

  • you feel overwhelmed by your child’s emotional or behavioral needs

  • you are exhausted from navigating providers, schools, or treatment systems

  • you carry constant fear, guilt, or second-guessing

  • your own well-being has been pushed aside

  • you want support from someone who understands both clinically and personally

Caring for your child and caring for yourself do not have to be in conflict.

You Don’t Need
to Be “Fixed.” Just Supported.
